Happiness is all I want – A Father's Heartbeat

Happiness is all I want

The ‘Happy’ song is just stuck in my head. Yes, truly all I want is to be happy.

Life is a roller coaster ride for all of us, and we’re always hoping that things will get better someday; some day we’ll be debt free, someday we will be rid of our sicknesses, someday we will get a better job, someday we’ll get a paycheck we deserve, someday we’ll be able to travel across the world, someday we will start pursuing our dreams.

This is what I’ve learnt and I feel so liberated now. Happiness is found in the pursuit, in the journey, in the trials, in the challenges and in the togetherness of our loved ones.

I am convinced that I will be happier if I can learn to stay positive and determined in difficult times, look forward & pursue happiness in times of failures.

Happy people make a happy world.

“It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” – Charles Spurgeon

“True happiness is… to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.” – Lucius Annaeus Seneca

“Happiness is the art of never holding in your mind the memory of any unpleasant thing that has passed.”

“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” – Herman Cain

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.” – Helen Keller

“The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.” – James M. Barrie

Well sung and how truly composed !
In the final analysis that’s the precise quest in our life’s journey.

    Whether
we take a hold of it or not.If we only harness & we DO just 2
things,we stand to receive the very 3 benefits the world pursues per
proverbs 22:4 in the bible, viz. ‘humility’ & fear of the Lord, bring wealth, honour & long life.Miss any ‘
one’ of those two prerequisites and get nix.So many have drawn blanks (self included) by falling short.
